DC Power Supply Kits for Lumin U1 Mini/U2 Mini/D2

Our PLiXiR Elite Balanced External Linear Power Supply (LPS) kit for Lumin U1 - Mini / Lumin U2 - Mini/ Lumin D2 improves the performance of the award winning Lumin streamer products. Based on our flagship PLiXiR Elite Balanced DC power supply and a special converter plate, the kit is user installable. It will drastically improvement the performance of the Lumin products.

The Kit consists of :

1. Elite balanced power supply. 2 Amps version for Lumin U1 – Mini, Lumin U2 - Mini and Lumin D2.

2. Machined back plate adapter kit that fits the IEC inlet of the Lumin Product. The user have to remove the existing IEC power inlet of the Lumin product, as well as the SMPS within the Lumin product (with hex screw drivers) and install this adapter kit in its place.

3. Customed PLiXiR DC cable for connection between the adapter kit and PLiXiR BDC power supply externally.

Note : Price does not include the Lumin Products. We can procure Lumin Products here in Singapore, install the external LPS kit and ship to you, if you do not current own the Lumin products.

By removing the original internal switch mode power supply of the Lumin U1 - Mini / Lumin U2 - Mini/ Lumin D2 and using our PLiXiR Elite LPS kit, noise level is lowered within the Lumin Streamers. Mains AC noise, AC to DC rectification noise, SMPS switching noise, grounding noise and related issues within the Lumin Products will all be eliminated. As a result, performance is drastically improved. More natural resolution and inner details of the music will be uncovered due the lower noise floor. Music will take a more relaxed and correct feel with improved transients, PRaT and removal of digitised sound. Best of all the kit is designed to be completely installable and reversible by the user, with all features and function of the Lumin Streamers intact.

Stack Combinations

- Stackable AC power conditioner and DC power supply save space for equipment and cabling. Only one AC power cord is required to power the whole stack. This results in better sound due to neater setup and simpler cable routing.

- Optimized system grounding with balanced AC power transformers. Eliminate ground loop currents, loop area and noise from the power supply. Reduces hum and hiss issues from the system. Increases system resolution naturally.
