The Statement MK II DC Cable is designed from the grounds up to be a total improvement over the original Statement DC cable that was introduced in 2016.

Not contented with just improving the cable material and construction, we have also designed completely new PLiXiR copper connectors (GX16-4 / DC2.1 / DC 2.5) to maximize the performance.

As a result, the Statement MK II DC cable provides a lower noise floor, even better bass, more accurate PRaT and dynamics. It has more body to the sound and naturally unveiled much more nuances over the original. Most important of all, the natural, neutral and pure PLiXiR tone is intact while all these improvements are made.

Users of the original Statement DC cables will appreciate and delight over the improvements the MKII cable makes.

Statement MK II DC cable Construction

The Statement MK II DC cable utilizes high purity multi-solid core UPOCC (Ohno’s continuous casting, long grain) silver-plated copper with Teflon dielectric, an improvement over the original’s silver-plated OFC and multi-strand structure.

Besides thicker conductor and shield, the MK II also incorporates an extra copper foil shield which improves the high-frequency noise rejection and improve shielding coverage.

As a result, the new MK II cable has lower noise floor, better current capacity and lower impedance than the original.

PLiXiR GX16-4 / DC2.1 / DC2.5 Copper Connectors

To maximize the performance of the Statement MK II DC cable, we have designed new connectors to complete the package. Not contented with standard connectors with brass contacts and plastic dielectric, the new PLiXiR DC connectors features full copper contacts, gold plated to prevent oxidation and improve conductivity.

They also feature highend Teflon Dielectric for the lowest absorption loss and improved vibration isolation. In our view they are the best DC connectors ever made.
