Our linear DC power supplies are very effective performance upgrades for many digital to analog converters (DAC) that requires an external DC power supply.  There are many references on the web that one can find on the improvement users experience when using our power supplies over the stock units.  Here are some popular DAC options for your easy selection. 

Notes :  

  • In all cases the flagship Statement BDC will provide the best performance.  The Elite BDC MK II will be the most cost effective.
  • Our power supply comes with the standard Elementa DC cable.  If you wish for better performance, you can purchase the PLiXiR Statement DC cable.
  • For Chord M-Scaler + Hugo TT, you can also opt for the single Statement BDC with 2 Outputs, or the Elite BDC MK II 5Amps options with 2 Outputs.
  • For other DAC not in this list, please contact us separately sales@mysoundaffairs.com.

Handcrafted

All PLiXiR products are handcrafted in Singapore. The ability to control all aspects of the PCB and product assembly allow us to fully optimise the performance and sound for all PLiXiR products. Each product is uniquely made. No cookie cutter process which focuses on production quantity but sacrifice performance is allowed here. We exist to make good products, not more products.

The final tuning is done by James Soh, the founder, for the PLiXiR sound.

Other Features

Casing

Ultra rigid 1 piece aluminum body (min 5mm thick) body construction with 5mm bottom plate and 3mm top cover. This costly design provides the best vibration isolation possible with the least number of joints. The casing doubles as the heat sink for the power supply, completing the elegant design.

Premium Components

Selected premium components including ultra-low-impedance capacitors, high-current connectors and high-purity copper cables. All chosen for a neutral and low noise sound.
